Ever since 1994 I've been a programmer at heart.
Once I was able to convice my parents that computers and the internet in particular don't make people stupid (though by now I'm inclined to revise that oppinion somewhat), my career started.
Back in school, I wrote a dialer (a legit one) for Windows, then we began creating websites commercially.
In 2001, we founded the company I now work for and since then I never lost my passion for programming and finding solutions for interesting problems.
As you read this blog you will notice that pragmatism plays an important role in my work: Whenever possible I'm trying to find the quickest, but also most workable solution to any given problem.
This also is where my enthusiasm usually stops. This blog is about quick solutions to problems. It's not about delivering completed projects. I don't have the stamina to actually polish a solution that works for me to make it usable for others.
